Ozone Safety

Warning Sign
When ozone treatment is recommended in a business or a residential home, proper notification is very important to the homeowner or business. Signage should always be placed on all external doors notifying the structure has a an activated oxygen generator in use and to not enter until ozone treatment is complete. This leaves the air fresh because the source of the odor has been permanently removed. And there are no artificial odors so the space becomes free of odors. Employ the power of ozone and create an outdoor fresh environment in your facility!

Employee removing drywall
SERVPRO of Lake County, Florida was contacted by a customer purchasing a home that needed extensive work done to it. Its previous owner was a hoarder, so this made the job a little more challenging. After the customer accepted our bid to clean up the home, we found a few other issues with it, including that it needed Mold remediation and some Water Damage restoration along with General Cleanup and Air duct cleaning. This franchise has been helping our community for over 30 years. Our Team members have many years of training and education in all aspects of the restoration industry and continue their training throughout their career with us. With that being said we went right to work and both parties agreed to demo the entire house. The customer has been very pleased with the results. Our goal at the end of any project, no matter how big or small, is to make it “Like it never even happened.” Please call SERVPRO of Lake County FL. at Ph. 352-735-3311

Carpet Cleaning
A large percentage of homes and business have carpet in at least one room. Carpet tends to catch dust, dirt, hair and other soils which negatively affect the life span of the floors. There are preventative measures one can take to reduce the wear and tear, thereby extending the life of the carpeting. These measures include vacuuming regularly, spot removal, rearranging furniture to alter traffic patterns, and using rugs and runners. Another useful task is to change HVAC filters regularly to help filter the dust and grit in the air.
Commercial and Home Inspections

Happy Home Owners
A home inspection uncovers any defects in the property or safety hazards that a resident may face. The most common issues found in Florida homes are water damage or leaky roofs. According to one study, 86% of people who conducted a home inspection found at least one issue.
The purpose of a building inspection is to verify compliance with the minimum safety standards set forth in the adopted codes. At the inspection, the Building Inspector will review all work done, compare it to the approved plans or building code (as applicable) for compliance, and issue an inspection report. Pack Out
5/23/2024 (Permalink)
Packout boxes
Simply put, a pack out service specializes in retrieving items from a home that has been damaged by a flood or other major disaster. Afterwards, they help to ensure the quality of the items they have retrieved. A typical pack out service operation consists of three steps. These steps are retrieval, storage, and restoration. The pack out service is unable to give your home back to you. But they can help save the most precious items in the house, long after you thought they were gone for ever. They can also attempt to retrieve artwork, consumer electronics, furniture, and so on. However, not everything will be salvageable, which is why it’s important to have a prioritized list of what you would like them to seek out. Once the pack out service has retrieved the items, they will need to be placed in a safe place. Most pack out services have special locations where these items can be stored, either all at once or in stages as the retrieval process continues. These storage facilities are clean and climate-controlled. And the main purpose of such a facility is to house your items while your home is being restored.
